Arenas
Bigger than a fighting-game stage, smaller than a shooter map: you can run across one in six to ten seconds. Every arena has cover, ramps, explosive tanks and its own anti-stall event. New ones unlock as you level up.
Food Court
The food court of an abandoned shopping mall, dressed up for TV by a League that didn't want to spend much. Spotlights on a stage truss, purple pennants, SPONSORED BY banners, cables taped across a floor that hasn't been mopped since the mall closed.
- THE BOX stands where the old fountain used to be, now bone dry.
- Plastic tables bolted to the floor are your cover.
- Stopped escalators are your ramps to the mezzanine.
- Propane tanks from the food stalls are your fireworks.
Anti-stall: the trillionaires are bored
Near the end, the trillionaires on the mezzanine start throwing trays, bottles and small bombs at whoever is avoiding the fight.
Mall directory
The shutters are down, the neon still works. Every shop front in the Food Court belongs to an unlikely brand of alternative protein.

On the pillars
Sponsor Pit
A cheap TV studio where every surface has been sold. An octagon printed with sponsor logos, THE BOX on a rotating stage, and stands packed with trillionaires on floating recliners, close enough to smell the protein.
- Giant screens show the commentator, live and very pleased with himself.
- APPLAUSE and LAUGH signs tell the trillionaires when to react. They don't.
- TV cameras on cranes sweep the ring: duck under them, or use them as cover.
- The stands are part of the arena. The audience participates, whether you like it or not.
Anti-stall: commercial break
A jingle plays, and giant sponsor billboards slide in from the sides, shrinking the octagon until there's nowhere left to hide but your opponent's face.
Protein Plant Rooftop
The roof of the factory that prints the puppets, at golden hour. Cricket-flour and spirulina silos, pastel pipes, steam vents, and a conveyor belt carrying tomorrow's fighters, vacuum-packed, past your feet.
- Two levels of catwalks and metal ramps, for the high-ground crowd.
- Steam vents hide you for a second. Your opponent knows that too.
- Puddles of spirulina paste make the floor slippery. CAUTION: WET PROTEIN.
- Protein sacks stack into cover, until somebody takes a chainsaw to them.
Anti-stall: quality control
The roof hatches start opening one by one to ventilate the plant. Stand still on the wrong one and you go back to the printer early.
